Dr. Fei Sun, MSW, PhD
Dr. Sun is a tenured professor at MSU School of Social Work, he is also the Health and Aging Certificate Program Coordinator. His research interests are Alzheimer’s and Related Dementia Care, Elder Abuse and Neglect Prevention and Intervention, Mental Health of Asian American Elders, and Risk and Protective Factors of Healthy Aging.

Daniel Vélez Ortiz, MSW, PhD
Dr. Ortiz is a tenured associate professor at MSU School of Social Work, his research interests are Mental health services for adult and older adult Latino populations; Health disparities in older Latino populations. Immigration and culture in service delivery; Organizational factors in service provision; Health technology applications; Diversity in higher education.

Christeen Nguyen, B.S
Christeen Nguyen is a Master of Public Health (MPH) student in the College of Human Medicine at Michigan State University (MSU) with a focus on improving population health and advancing health equity. She is passionate about developing community-based strategies and public health initiatives that support older adults, individuals living with dementia, and their families.
